If you’re new to counselling, please do not feel anxious or afraid if you need someone
outside your family or group of friends to talk to. Admitting that you need to talk is an important step and one which will change how you think about yourself and your relationships with others. Unfortunately there is still some stigma attached to seeking help but this should not be the case – just remember you are taking a brave step.
As a counsellor I can offer you time and space and the opportunity to tell your story at your pace, in a confidential and private setting where you will be respected without judgement. My person centred approach to counselling allows you to choose where to start and together we can decide if you need short or long term counselling.
